A case of ocular granulocytic sarcoma (Chloroma) in acute myelocytic leukemia

Abstract
Recently, we experienced a case of ocular granulocytic sarcoma (Chloroma) with acute myelocytic leukemia.
A 14-year-old girl was admitted to Kang Nam St. Mary¢¥s Hospital, in May 1983, because of progressive left eye protrusion, dizziness and mild headache for 2 months.
On admission physical examiation, routine urinalysis and blood chemistry revealed no abnomalities except left eye protrusion and abnomal CBC.
Bone marrow aspirates revealed nearly 100% celluarity with leukemic myeloblasts or promyelocytes.
Acute myelocytic leukemia has been known to manifest a many characteristic clinical features and also has a granulocytic sarcoma (Chloroma) in many sites of body.
We present a case of ocular granulocytic sarcoma(Chloroma) in acute myelocyic leukemia with many literatures.
